Chain mediating effect of psychological inflexibility and sleep quality on self-compassion and subjective well-being in patients with postoperative che-motherapy for breast cancer
Objective To explore the mediating role of psychological inflexibility and sleep quality on self-compassion and subjective well-being in patients with postoperative chemotherapy for breast cancer.Methods A total of 336 patients with breast cancer treated with postoperative chemotherapy from September 2023 to March 2024 in Shengjing Hospital Affiliated to China Medical University were selected as the research objects.The relationship between self-compassion,subjective well-being,psychological inflexibility,and sleep quality,and the mediating effect of psychological inflexibility and sleep quality on self-compassion and subjective well-being.Pearson correlation coefficient was used for correlation analysis and Bootstrap was used to verify the mediating effect.Results The score of self-compassion scale was(83.11±14.69)points,the score of general well-being schedule was(70.33±13.99)points,the score of acceptance and action questionnaire-2nd edition was(16.15±7.66)points,and the score of Pittsburgh sleep quality index was(7.38±3.33)points.Subjective well-being was positively correlated with self-compassion(r>0,P<0.05),and negatively correlated with psychological inflexibility and sleep quality(r<0,P<0.05);self-compassion was negatively corre-lated with psychological inflexibility and sleep quality(r<0,P<0.05);while psychological inflexibility was positively corre-lated with sleep quality(r>0,P<0.05).The path of self-com-passion to subjective well-being through psychological inflexi-bility and sleep quality accounted for 37.32%of the total effect.Conclusion The subjective well-being of postoperative che-motherapy patients with breast cancer is moderate.Self-com-passion can indirectly affect the subjective well-being through psychological inflexibility and sleep quality,and medical staff can provide corresponding sleep guidance or positive psychological intervention to improve the level of patients'happiness.
