Exploring the application of repairing skin barrier in atopic dermatitis based on the theory of"ying-wei qi dynamics"
Abnormal skin barrier function is an important pathogenic mechanism of atopic dermatitis(AD),repairing skin barrier function plays a crucial role in the treatment and relapse prevention of AD.Starting from the theory of"ying-wei qi dynamics",this paper analyzes correlation between generation,circulation,movement changes of ying-wei and skin barrier function.It is believed that the key pathogenesis of abnormal skin barrier function is the imbalance of ying-wei caused by deficiency of ying qi,insufficient wei qi,and poor gasification of ying-wei qi.This imbalance affects differentiation of keratinized skin capsule,synthesis of sebum membrane,and balance of skin microbiota,thereby exacerbating occurrence and development of AD.The purpose of this article is to explore application of repairing skin barrier function in the treatment of AD through the methods of harmonizing ying-wei,promoting ying-wei and nourishing ying-wei.
