Objective To analyze the relationship between rational drug use and drug resistance rate of Klebsiella pneumoniae(KP)based on the correlation between KP resistance rate and antibiotic defined daily dose(DDDs),and to provide new ideas for antibiotic management. Methods The correlation between the drug resistance rate of KP to common antibiotics and the DDDs in the same period of our hospital from 2019 to 2021 was retrospectively investigated and analyzed. The key antibiotics were determined according to the DDDs and the rationality of antibiotic drug use.The change of KP drug resistance rate were analyzed. Results The DDDs of cephamycins, quinolones, and macrolides were positively correlated with the resistance rates of KP to ceftriaxone,amoxicillin-clavulanate potassium,piperacillin/tazobactam,and compound sulfamethoxazole. The differences were statistically significant respectively. The rationality of piperacillin sodium/tazobactam and levofloxacin were improved.During the same period, the bacterial resistance rate of KP showed an overall downward trend, with a significant decline from 2019 to 2021.Conclusion There is a certain correlation between KP resistance rate and DDDs,and rational drug use can improve bacterial resistance rate.
