Through the establishment of an ophthalmic unplanned reoperation quality control and supervision system, the quality of ophthalmic surgery can be monitored in real time, and the rate of unplanned reoperation and missing report rate can be significantly reduced. The system is characterized by reporting and auditing, automatic real-time supervision, data collection, early warning and reminder,closed-loop supervision of the process, etc. It is able to comprehensively collect information on basic information of patients, surgical procedures, reasons for re-operation and corrective measures, which provides strong support for hospital management. The development of the unplanned reoperation quality control and supervision process ensured standardization and normalization of supervision. The results of the study showed that the rate of unplanned reoperations decreased from 0.25%to 0.14%and the rate of underreporting decreased from 25%to 5%after the operation of the system, and the differences were all statistically significant. The establishment of a quality control and supervision system for unplanned reoperation in ophthalmology is an effective measure to improve the quality of surgery and ensure patient safety, which helps hospitals realize the continuous improvement of surgical quality and safety.
