Objective To explore the use and effectiveness of touchpoint management in pediatric nursing management.Methods 87 cases of hospitalized children admitted to the department of pediatrics of Changshan County People's Hospital in Zhejiang Province from September 2021 to January 2022 were selected as the control group,and routine quality nursing services were implemented.87 cases of hospitalized children admitted from February 2022 to June 2022 were selected as the observation group,and touchpoint management was implemented on the basis of the control group.The quality of care scores of pediatric nurses before and after the implementation of touchpoint management and the nursing satisfaction of parents of children in the two groups were compared.Results The quality of care scores of pediatric nurses were significantly higher after the implementation of touchpoint management than before the implementation.The nursing satisfaction of parents of children in the observation group was 97.70%,which was significantly higher than 81.61%in the control group(p<0.05).Conclusion Extracting touchpoints in pediatric nursing management,formulating relevant service standards and implementing them,organizing training for nurses,and strengthening the supervision and assessment of touchpoints have made nursing more humanized,procedural,and scientific,effectively improving the quality of nursing care,as well as effectively enhancing the nursing satisfaction of children and their parents as well as the hospital's reputation.
