Objective To explore the application and effect of the scientific management of antibacterial drugs(AMS)model based on evidence-based pharmacy in the rational use of clinical drugs. Methods Clinical data related to the hospital before the implementation of the AMS model based on evidence-based pharmacy were collected in 2021 and after the implementation in 2022 The clinical drug management indicators, irrational use of antibiotics and intensity of antibiotics use were compared before and after the implementation. Results In 2021,the proportion of outpatient, emergency, and inpatient patients using antibiotics, the proportion of inpatient infections, and the cost of antibiotics use per hospitalization were significantly higher than in 2022,with statistical significance(p<0.05).The number of irrational use prescriptions, inappropriate dosage of medication, and inappropriate combination therapy in 2021 was higher than that in 2022,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).The intensity of antibacterial drug use in 2022 decreased by 23.32%compared to 2021.Conclusion The AMS model based on evidence-based pharmacy can effectively improve the use of antibiotics and promote rational drug use.
