By referring to the theory and method of total quality management,this paper analyzed the problems existing in the general-on-duty management of a hospital,discussed measures such as improving the professional ability of the duty personnel,optimizing the duty process and system,strengthening the communication and cooperation between various departments of the hospital,and using information technology to improve the efficiency of duty,so as to effectively improve the quality of the hospital general-on-duty and ensure the safe and stable operation of the hospital during non-working hours.
