There is a deviation between the labor effort and remuneration of medical staff in public hospitals, mainly reflected in the imbalance between workload and remuneration. The economic problems faced by public hospitals, such as limited financial budget, credit policy adjustments and changes in medical fee policies, all affect the total amount of remuneration. In order to cope with these problems, public hospitals should strive for financial subsidies, raise the charges of some medical technology services, and resume and expand feasible sources of income, reduce medical costs without increasing the burden of patients, ensure the balance of income and expenditure of hospitals, approve the salary level of medical staff based on the principle of matching labor effort and remuneration, and adjust the remuneration of medical staff's labor gradually,so as to provide patients with better quality medical services.
