Objective To investigate the effectiveness of information-education-emotion-society multidimensional support as a nursing intervention for patients with diabetic retinopathy(DR).Methods A total of 180 DR patients admitted to the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University from June 2021 to December 2022 were selected and divided into the conventional group(June 2021 to September 2021)and the study group(October 2021 to December 2022)according to their admission time,with 90 cases in each group.The conventional group was given conventional nursing interventions,while the study group was given nursing interventions based on the IEES multidimensional support method on the basis of the conventional group.The psychological state(SAS,SDS scores),self-management ability,life quality and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups after intervention.Results 30 days after admission,SDS and SAS scores,self-management ability scores,life quality scores,and nursing satisfaction were better in the study group than in the conventional group(p<0.05).Conclusion Nursing interventions based on the IEES multidimensional support method for DR patients can effectively improve their psychological state,self-management ability,and life quality.Patients'nursing satisfaction is high.
