Objective To explore the current situation of financial toxicity and its influencing factors in patients with gynecological malignancies.Methods A total of 221 patients with gynecological malignancies hospitalized from January to December 2022 were selected as the research objects.The general information questionnaire,comprehensive rating scale for financial toxicity in cancer patients,fear of disease progression simplified scale and perceived social support scale were used for the survey.Results The financial toxicity score was14.07±3.52,which could be divided into three profiles:unable to afford,barely afford and able to afford.Family monthly income,fear of disease progression,combined with other chronic diseases and perceived social support were the factors influencing the latent profile category of financial toxicity.Conclusion Medical staff should fully communicate with patients and their families about the costs and benefits of treatment,pay attention to the psychological burden of patients,actively mobilize their social support system to prevent and treat chronic diseases,and reduce their financial toxicity level.
