Objective To analyze the effect of nursing risk management on the incidence of adverse events in patients with epilepsy undergoing surgery.Methods The clinical data of patients with epilepsy who underwent surgical treatment in the department of neurosurgery,Shenzhen University General Hospital from January 2022 to August 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.All 160 patients were divided into two groups according to the difference of nursing methods,with 80 cases in each group.The control group was given conventional nursing management,and the observation group was given nursing risk management.The adverse events,efficacy grading and nursing satisfaction were observed and compared between the two groups.Results Compared with the control group,the total incidence of adverse events in the observation group decreased significantly,and the two groups had statistical significance(p<0.05).The proportion of Engel grade Ⅰ in the observation group was significantly increased,and there was statistical significance between the two groups(p<0.05).The total satisfaction rate of nursing in the observation group was significantly improved,and there was statistically significant between the two groups(p<0.05).Conclusion Nursing risk management in epilepsy patients undergoing surgery can help to reduce the incidence of adverse events,ensure the clinical efficacy of surgery,and improve the nursing satisfaction of patients.
