Objective To compare and analyze the research status of medical doctoral students with different training years in a tertiary hospital,and to explore the cultivation of long-term medical doctoral students'scientific research ability.Methods By retrospective analysis,the basic situation and scientific research ability of long-term medical doctoral students and non-long-term medical doctoral students who graduated from 2018 to 2022 were analyzed.In view of the existing problems,this paper puts forward some ideas and methods to improve the training of long-term medical doctoral students'scientific research ability.Results Although there are many outstanding advantages of long-term medical doctoral students,the scientific research performance of non-long-term medical doctoral students was superior to that of long-term medical doctoral students in terms of scientific research.Conclusion Improvements in teaching methods,mentoring roles,and incentives have been made to stimulate students'scientific and technological innovation potential and enhance the research competitiveness of long-term medical students.
