Objective To improve the efficiency and quality of medical equipment management department's technical support work by utilizing management tools and methods.Methods Using the"Quality and Safety Cross"as a management tool,the"3R2E"maintenance wrench chart was proposed to evaluate the efficiency and quality of engineers'technical support work,and the fishbone diagram was used to discuss and improve the problems that occurred in maintenance work.Results In terms of the efficiency of equipment maintenance,the number of equipment maintenance completed and returned to the clinical departments on the same day increased,while the number of equipment maintenance completed and returned to the clinical departments within three days and more than three days decreased.In terms of the quality of equipment repair,the number of equipment returned for maintenance within two weeks after completion of maintenance decreased.Conclusion Through the application of modern management concepts and tools,the medical equipment management department has improved the efficiency and quality of engineering and technical support work and ensured the safe use of equipment in clinical diagnosis and treatment.
