In order to promote the sustainable development of the management system of university hospitals,the π-competence model for university hospital managers is proposed in combination with the π-type talent and quality model.The model analyzes the ability characteristics of managers from six levels,including four horizontal comprehensive quality levels:self-concept group,influence group,goal and action group,help and service group;and two vertical professional quality levels:management quality group and cognitive quality group.It is hoped that with the introduction of the π-competence model,the recruitment and selection,performance management and personalized training of university hospital managers can be improved,and the management system of university hospitals in China can be improved.
