Objective To investigate the status of medical ethics cognition of oncology postgraduates and explore the influence of chief resident training on medical ethics education.Methods 109 graduate students in oncology in Beijing Cancer Hospital were investigated with questionnaires.Chi-square test and rank sum test were used to compare the differences of medical ethics status between the graduate students with or without chief resident training.Results The postgraduates who had undergone chief resident training had better performance in the aspects of medical ethics cognition,initial intention consciousness,legal consciousness and humanistic consciousness,and the choice difference between the two groups was statistically significant.Conclusion This paper puts forward the ideological and political work concept of"upholding medical ethics".Through establishing the initial intention consciousness,strengthening the rules consciousness and cultivating the humanistic consciousness,combined with the chief resident training process,the medical ethics education effect of oncology postgraduates can be improved.
