Farmers'Dual Employment and Transformation of Rural Household Energy Consumption Under"Dual Carbon"Goal
Promoting the transformation of rural household energy consumption is of great significance for optimizing China's energy consumption structure and achieving the"dual carbon"goals.Based on field research data of 2022,this study empirically analyzed the impact and mechanism of farmers engaging in part-time work on the transformation of rural energy consumption. The results indicated that part-time farming by farmers had a significant promoting effect on the transformation of rural energy consumption, promoting the gradual shift of rural energy consumption structure from biomass energy to commodity energy.Further mechanism analysis showed that part-time farming promoted the transformation of rural household energy consumption by increasing household income and income structure, squeezing out land capital, squeezing out human capital, and enhancing ecological consciousness. In addition, there were intergenerational, regional and industry differences in promoting the transformation of rural energy consumption through part-time farming. Therefore, some suggestions were proposed for further breaking down barriers to the flow of urban and rural resources and improving the mechanism for the flow of migrant workers outside original areas;strengthen the construction of ecological civilization and vigorously cultivate the ecological consciousness of farmers;promote the upgrading of rural industries;improve the quantity and quality of farmers'income.
