Study on Impact of Factor Mobility on Urban-Rural Integration Development——Taking the Yangtze River Delta Region as an Example
The key to achieve harmonious urban-rural integration lies in deepening the reform of factor marketization, ensuring the free flow and equitable exchange of urban and rural factors.Utilizing the entropy method, the level of urban-rural integration development of 41 cities within the Yangtze River Delta region was measured from 2012 to 2020.Furthermore,employing the Ordinary Least Squares(OLS)model, the research investigated the impact of factor mobility between urban and rural areas on the level of urban-rural integration development, along with the moderating effect of urban-biased policies. The findings revealed as the followings:The level of urban-rural integration development across the Yangtze River Delta region was characterized by spatially uneven distribution, with economically advanced cities exhibiting deeper integration.Anhui Province ranked the lowest in urban-rural integration development. On a comprehensive scale, the flow of human resources, capital, and industry significantly influenced urban-rural integration development.Human re-sources and capital flow positively contributed, whereas industrial flow exerted a negative influence.Urban-biased policies played a counteractive role in the impact of factor mobility on urban-rural integration development, restraining the positive effects of factor mobility.
