Since the new era,the development of international Chinese language education has been thriving,but in recent years it has also encountered new challenges.In this regard,it is urgent to fully understand the characteristics of the current global context changes,adapt to the current situation,further clarify the purpose of international Chinese language education,take"international understanding"as the guiding principle,"promote international understanding through global language education"as the call,effectively improve management mechanisms,systematically examine the Chinese language education of international students,Confucius Institutes,Chinese language schools,and educational institutions from various countries,and further focus on"localization",take"overseas Chinese"as the"language base",social forces as the basic team,and the balance of stakeholders'sense of gain as the fundamental driving force,and shift from mere"Chinese education"to"Chinese education","Chinese education+",and"subject/skills+Chinese education",and pragmatically develop international Chinese education.
