The application and the value of Construction Morphology in the study of Chinese lexical research
This article analyzes the relationship between the research path of Construc-tion Morphology and the existing research path of Chinese morphology studies,and demon-strates the application and value of Construction Morphology in Chinese vocabulary research from specific topics.The article first explores the similarities and differences between the concepts of Construction Morphology and Chinese word-formation research,and points out that introducing Construction Morphology into Chinese vocabulary research is a development of the existing path of Chinese word-formation research.Then,starting from the perspective of construction relations(inheritance relation,paradigmatic relation,and embedding rela-tion)and construction rules,we discuss the application and value of Construction Morpholo-gy in analyzing Chinese compound words,summarizing lexical patterns,and exploring the dynamic development of lexical patterns.The significance of introducing Construction Mor-phology into Chinese vocabulary research lies not only in the replacement of the name,but also in the development of the research path.
