In the late Ming Dynasty,the scholar Guan Fuchen from Huanggang had a rich life experience,numerous works,and a wide range of knowledge.He has not only had traditional literature works,but also military books and calli-graphy works,which demonstrated his unique literary landscape.His poetry combined the spirit of heroism with the style of Zen imagery,and his works of Ci showed the distinctive and tender emotions in turbulent times reflecting the true nature of Ci.Guan Fuchen was a practitioner of Confucianism.His prose was most dazzling in terms of book,argumentation,and preface,reflecting a strong consciousness of the creative subject,which shaped the image of a resilient and responsible scholar in the late Ming Dynasty.Guan Fuchen was an important writer in the literature history of Hubei during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
