On the Construction of Long-term Mechanism of Teachers Ethics in Colleges and Universities from the Perspective of Traditional Chinese Moral Education——Based on an Analysis of Morality of Confucianism
The concept of"morality"in Confucianism has special connotation.In Confucianism,Tao is the objective basis and source of De,and De is the understanding and internalizing of Tao in the human mind.To grasp the fundamen-tal meaning of Confucian moral education,the key is to understand the so-called"Tao"of Confucianism.Tao in Confu-cianism is a final category,unified all,whose essence refers to the creation nature and law of Heaven,life is the essence of Tao.This determines that the essence of Confucian moral education is a kind of education about life.This kind of edu-cation can be divided into three levels according to the level of Tao:life education at the level of cosmic ecology;pre-people education at the social level;loving-others education at the individual level.This kind of education focuses on the cultivation of"Tao heart"and emphasizes the combination of inner cultivation and external practice of rites.This thought of moral education has an important inspiration for the long-term mechanism of constructing teachers'ethics in current colleges and universities.
