The Dream of Confucius and Liu Xie from Lacan's Perspective
Confucius dreamed of Duke Zhou,Liu Xie dreamed of Confucius, and the dreams mixed the"truth"of consciousness and unconsciousness.Lacan's Theory of"Desire-Speech-Other"can be used to observe the two dreams:dreams originate from the unconscious manifestation of desire, expressed in the form of language structure, and have dual objects of the small other and the large other. The dreams of Confucius and Liu Xie had cultural continuity and shared a common spiritual core that echoed to the historical background.
