摘要
反诘类选择问"是 X还是 Y"的否定类型和否定模式颇为丰富.从"行、知、言"三域来看,反诘类"是X还是Y"的否定以知域否定为主,同时涉及行域和言域否定.反诘类"X还是Y"是通过反问引发前提达到否定引发目的的间接否定句式,根据否定的直接程度差异可以分为"前提-引发"一致式、推导式、隐含式三种模式.该句式是一种策略性否定,具有进行话语智辩、表征言者立场以及彰显话语权势等功能价值.
Abstract
This paper focuses on the negative types and negative patterns of the rhetorical question"Is it X or Y".From the perspectives of the three conceptual domains of"action,knowledge and speech",the negation of this rhetorical question is mainly in the domain of knowledge,and also involves the negation in the domain of action and the domain of speech.Rhetorical question"Is it X or Y"is an indirect negative sentence form that achieves the purpose of negation by asking a rhetorical question to the premise of triggering,which can be categorized into"premise-trigger"unified mode,derivatized mode,implicated modes in accordance with the degree of directness of the response.It is a kind of strategic negation,which has the function of intellectual debate,characterizing the speaker's position and demonstrating the power of discourse.
