On the Similarities between the Ancient Buildings in Wudang Mountains and the Imperial Palace
The Taoist holy land,Wudang Mountains has had a long history and unique geographical location.In the Ming Dynasty,because of the great royal promotion,many Taoist buildings were built in the Wudang mountains.Because of its special function positioning and humanistic values,the ancient buildings in Wudang Mountains has had out-standing grade characteristics.The Imperial Palace,as the place of the Emperors living and working of the Ming Dynasty,was the demonstration of royal powers.Through a comparative study,there are many similarities between the ancient buildings in Wudang Mountains and the Imperial Palace in Beijing.
