Literature is an important medium of cultural memory.Chi Zijian's creation is an attempt to give cultural significance and functional value to memory.Specifically,it can be found that the image of the elderly is often expressed as a carrier of local memory and suffering memory.Chi Zijian's call to the local experience and memory of the elderly has reshaped the spirit of Northeast China,and"Northeast China"has thus become a place full of hope,spirituality,friendship and inclusiveness.The"human"and"human nature"neglected in the silent suffering history and cracks in the literature are vividly restored in Chi Zijian's literary imagination of the suffering experience and memory of the elderly.Based on the real society memory crisis and survival dilemma concern and thinking,Chi Zijian memory conscious and con-tinuous literary performance,gives memory strengthening local identity and belonging,against being forgotten and reflecting on the real cultural value significance,also provides us with the cultural memory to develop the interpretation of space.
