Saturday Fiction is the latest work of director Lou Ye,and also another important achievement of Chinese film aesthetics.This paper analyzes Saturday Fiction from two aspects:one,sorting out what changes have been made to the film text based on the novel text,judging the effect of the changes,and speculating on the reasons for the changes;two,comparing Saturday Fiction with Lou Ye's previous works,seeing what style elements it has inherited and reshaped,and exploring the evolution of Lou Ye's film style.Then,the paper describes the significance and value of Lou Ye's film creation in a macro way.The adaptation and creation of Saturday Fiction is successful,and Lou Ye's film techniques and style became increasingly mature.Lou Ye's films are still scarce in current film environment,with high ar-tistic,aesthetic and cultural values.
