作为一种话语行为,《三国演义》受当时官方主流的儒家权力话语与意识形态影响,体现了书写者的价值判断与情感态度.传统历史学家关注的是历史事件与经验教训,新历史主义更关切的是历史如何被阐释与书写,《三国演义》作为历史小说与历史书写,是在历史基础之上成功地融入了主观想象与历史虚构.与传统的宏大叙事不同,新历史主义把目光投向"大历史"下的"小人物"和"小事件",《三国演义》不乏对边缘人物与奇闻轶事的刻画和描述.《三国演义》迥异于传统的女性书写与女性形象,则颇具新历史主义与现代女性主义的先锋性.
On New Historicism Writing in Romance of the Three Kingdoms
As a discourse act,Romance of the Three Kingdoms was influenced and controlled by Confucianism,the mainstream and dominant power discourse and ideology of the government at that time,indicating the writer's value judgement and emotional attitude.Traditional historians were concerned with historical events,experiences,and lessons,while New Historicism is more concerned with how history is interpreted and written.As a historical novel and historical writing,Romance of the Three Kingdoms is a successful novel by applying subjective imagination and historical fiction based on historical facts.Unlike traditional great narrative of historical writing,New Historicism focuses on"small figures"and"small things"under the background of"great history",which are occasionally presented in the depiction and description of marginal figures and strange anecdotes in Romance of the Three Kingdoms.The female writing and images which are quite different from the traditional ones in Romance of the Three Kingdoms can be regarded as a pioneer of New Historicism and modern feminism.
