On the Professional Competency Development of Masters in International Chinese Language Education
This study investigates the professional competency development of 452 Masters graduates in International Chinese Language Education from various universities in China.Through a questionnaire survey and some in-depth interviews,it can be seen that several problems still exist,such as the need for adjustments in curriculum design,insufficient focus on teaching competency development,and a shortage of internship opportunities.In response,the study proposes several strategies:clarifying cultivation objectives,fostering comprehensive abilities,strengthening practical training,and deepening the integration of industry and education,to comprehensively enhance the overall quality and professional com-petency of masters to meet the needs of International Chinese Language Education in the context of globalization.
