An Exploration of the Publication and Value of Salt Industry Literature during the Period of the Republic of China
During the period of the Republic of China,Chinese society underwent significant transformation,with traditional political,economic and cultural structures facing comprehensive reconstruction.As a pillar industry of the national economy,the salt industry was inevitably swept up in this wave of change.At the same time,the publishing industry,as an important medium for knowledge production and dissemination,formed a complex interactive relationship with the development of the salt industry.This article,based on a cultural history perspective,clarifies the basic context of salt industry publishing during the period of Republic of China and further analyzes its content composition and dissemination methods.It also explores the interactions between salt industry publishing and political changes,academic trends and social culture.By combining case studies with macro analysis,the article attempts to reveal the unique position of salt industry publishing in the social transformation of the Republic of China and its significant implications for the inheritance and development of Chinese salt culture.
