During the War of Resistance Against Japan,music propaganda was a crucial method for inspiring national spirit and boosting morale.Born out of wartime,Fujian Music Academy was established amidst the conflict and persisted in its educational practices under challenging circumstances.Through concerted efforts in curriculum development,faculty,teaching methods and musical practice,the academy explored and refined a training model for local music professionals and music educators,balancing comprehensive education with war-time skill requirements.Gathering a host of domestic and international talent,the academy was committed to creating new music and promoting public music education.Fujian Music Academy focused on student training,academic research,and social service,maintaining a stance of resisting the enemy through music,profoundly awakening the public's awareness of the resistance,adapting to wartime and societal needs,and pushing for-ward the modern transformation of the higher music education system in China.
