Text,Context,Semantic Background and Relevance Theory
The article believes that only by introducing the concept of"text"can we truly conduct dynamic research on words,grammar,and discourse.And any dynamic research cannot do without context.The context,in terms of macro planning,can be refined into"situational context"and"cultural context";In terms of micro level word choice,it can be refined into"semantic background".The dynamic study of language,no matter it involves"situational context","cultural context",or"semantic background",its important theoretical support is the relevance theory of cognitive linguistics.
