In the 1920s,Guangdong was the cradle of the new democratic revolution, which witnessed the establishment of the first cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party and the vigorous development of the great revolution. In the early days, the Communist Party of China actively carried out the workers'movement in Guangdong, and creatively employed music as an important means of propaganda and education.Since the early 1920s,different versions of the song"Internationale"have been spread in Guangdong.Even before the first Kuomintang-Communist cooperation, workers'night schools in the Zijin area began to use music for propaganda and education.During the Great Revolution, the Cantonese Opera Society was reformed, and great importance was attached to the role of Guangdong folk music in publicity and education. This has greatly enhanced the training of workers and children's propaganda talents, and at the same time improved the propaganda effect by broadening the propaganda channels. In particular, the daily journal The Road of Workers responded to people's understanding of the revolutionary situation through more high-quality revolutionary songs in a timely manner, which effectively promoted the development of the Guangdong workers'movement. The music used by the Communist Party of China in the early days of the Guangdong workers'movement was rich in connotation and diverse in form, and its musical activities also showed the characteristics of organization, which became an important force to promote the revolution.
