Intestinal Absorption of Anemarrhena asphodeloides Extract Based on Single-pass Intestinal Perfusion Model
Objective To study the absorption of seven active components of Anemarrhena asphodeloides extract in the intes-tinal tract of rats and to elucidate the intestinal absorption mechanism of the active components. Methods The rat single-pass intestinal perfusion(SPIP)model was used to analyze the intestinal absorption of the seven active components. The in-testinal perfusion samples were processed by solid-phase extraction. The absorption changes of multiple active components of A.asphodeloides was quantitative analyzed using LC-MS/MS.Results The absorption constants(Ka)of mangiferin, neomangiferin, timosaponin BⅡ,baohuosideⅠ,and sarsasapogenin showed differences(P<0.05),indicating that the main absorption site of these substances was in the jejunum. The effective permeability(Peff)of the main active components was all>1.0×10-3 cm/min,suggesting good absorption in the duodenum and jejunum of rats. Conclusion The main ab-sorption site of mangiferin, neomangiferin, timosaponin BⅡ,baohuoside Ⅰ,and sarsasapogenin is in the jejunum.
