摘要
何林福先生的作品《岳阳楼史话》，其价值和意义体现主要在三个方面：作品用“古今交融”的历史眼光，对岳阳楼前世今生的历史进程作了全记录；行走在学术研究与通俗阅读之间，探索出一条“雅俗兼济”的治学新路，达到了“通俗的高雅”之境界；图文互通，图文并茂，用图像记录、诠释和解读历史。
Abstract
The value and significance of He Linfu's work named The Story of Yueyang Tower mainly embody three aspects:the work records the whole history of Yueyang Tower with historical vision; its expression has features of combining academic research with popular books;it records, explains and analyzes the history with text and graphics.
