摘要
2013年,美国作家戴夫·艾格斯于出版的小说《圆环》中表现出对未来社会人们隐私泄露的担忧.《圆环》想象了一个随着数码科技的不断发展,未来有可能出现的一种新的监控社会.小说所想象的未来监控社会不再是由政府而是由高科技公司来主导和实施,其权力结构呈现出解放性和奴役性的双重特点,使该小说在看似美好的数字乌托邦背后隐含着对未来数字恶托邦的讽刺和警示.
Abstract
The Circle,published in 2013 by American writer Dave Eggers,expresses concern about the end of privacy in the future.The novel points out that a new kind of surveillance society is about to emerge in the future with the continuous development of digital technology.The future surveillance society in the novel is no longer dominated and implemented by the government but by high-tech companies.Its power structure is characterized by duality,which is both liberating and servile.This makes the novel a seemingly beautiful digital utopia while a digital dystopia irony and warning lies behind it.
