Exploration of the Relationship between Professional Identity and Employment Intention of Vocational Interns
Graduation internship is an important part of vocational college teaching.The retention and employment of interns after graduation internship is of great significance for promoting the long-term development of students,improving the professional matching rate of graduates,and achieving high-quality employment.This article focuses on vocational interns in the accommodation and catering industry in Wuxi,Jiangsu Province,and studies the impact mechanism between their professional identity,job satisfaction,and willingness to stay and find employment.The research results indicate that the four dimensions of professional identity are positively correlated with job satisfaction,and job satisfaction is positively correlated with job retention intention.The cognitive and emotional dimensions of professional identity can promote the job retention intention of graduates by strengthening job satisfaction.
