Status and Development on Urban Green Space Application of Yueyang City Tree and Flower
The current application status and growth potential of city tree and city flower in the main urban area of Yueyang city including residential green space,workplace green space,road and square green space,park green space,and lakeshore green space has been investigated.Through the data access,questionnaire survey,on-site interview,on-site investigation and other methods,it has been found out that the application frequency of elaeocarpus decipiens and gardenia in the urban construction of Yueyang City is relatively low,and growth state is poor.Elaeocarpus decipiens suffers from severe sunburn,while gardenia suffers from severe yellowing.Based on this,we should strengthen the application and promotion of city trees and flowers,improve the planting environment,and enhance the cultivation and management in the later stage to further optimize the urban landscape and humanistic environment.
