Collaborative meaning construction of multimodal discourse in the food documentary film of"New Year on the Tongue"
The study of multimodal discourse has demonstrated its significant value in the field of film and tel-evision art research by exceeding the methodological characteristics of single-language modal discourse.Based on the theoretical framework of multimodal discourse analysis,the multimodal analysis software ELAN6.7 is employed to conduct an empirical analysis of the food documentary film"New Year on the Tongue"from three levels:discourse context,discourse expression,and discourse meaning.The study explores the expression characteristics of the visual text,language text,and music text in food documentary films,and the underlying ideologies behind them,and reveals the mechanism by which multimodal language collaboratively construct thematic meaning in food documentary films.It aims to provide reference for the creation of food documentary films and the film and television dissemination of traditional Chinese food culture.
