In order to adapt to the transformation of knowledge production mode and the change of market demand for talents,our country clearly emphasizes the necessity and ur-gency of collaborative training of innovative talents.As an important way to achieve collabo-rative training,interdisciplinary talent training is conducive to solving huge social problems and becomes an important part of postgraduate education reform.MIT has been committed to developing interdisciplinary talents training out of practical needs and thanks to advanta-geous environment,and has accumulated rich experience in this aspect.In the process of in-terdisciplinary doctoral training,MIT emphasizes multiple perspectives and comprehensive ability of training objectives,wide access and cross registration,team cooperation and clear work allocation of teaching staff,combination of explicit and implicit curriculum,and the in-clination of integrating creators and practitioners in terms of course-taking requirements.As a result,MIT interdisciplinary doctoral training has formed its typical features of"giant"problems orientation,combined with the intellectual recognition established by the disci-pline,the intellectual integration of curriculum and team building,the intellectual strengthe-ning of scientific research theory and practice cognition,and the intellectual development of cultural adaptation and professional integration as the main line,supported by diversified means.
