The educational system in economically underdeveloped areas forms a unique edu-cational ecology under the influence of macro factors such as social and economic conditions, regional characteristics, ethnic culture,as well as meso-and micro-factors including educa-tional concepts, teaching staff, and cultural education. The ecological principles in ecosys-tem,natural balance, and coordinated evolution can be applied in elucidating the operating laws of the interaction between educational assistance and educational development environ-ment in these areas. They can also be used in activating the intrinsic vitality of the education-al ecology in underdeveloped areas through the precise connection between the different links of target positioning, resource integration, complementary embedding instruction,educa-tional derivation, and effective supervision in the process of educational assistance with the participation of various stakeholders, including universities, families, governments, and so-cial organizations. On this basis,a complementary embedding mechanism of educational tar-geted assistance will be constructed that aligns with the characteristics of the local education-al ecosystem so that a self-development educational ecology will be attained in economically underdeveloped areas and that the poverty alleviation achievements through education will be further integrated with rural revitalization.
