The application of big data is of great significance in improving the quality of high-er education management and predicting its future development needs and directions.How-ever,some universities suffer from outdated concepts in educational management,inadequate management mechanisms,and low rates of big data utilization,which hinders the manage-ment of higher education in the era of big data.Modern higher education management re-quires the timely transformation of the management mode,improvement of the digital man-agement system,enhancement of the quality of the management team,innovation of higher education management concepts,and strengthening the prevention and control of big data se-curity risks.
