The nature of supervisor-student(SS)relationship have effect on academic out-put.The SS cooperation intention,SS interaction,academic atmosphere on the campus,students'knowledge accumulation and other factors influence the quality of SS dialogue and in turn the quality of post-graduate education.Therefore,it is important to explore the game mechanism between supervisors and post-graduate students and to discover the Pareto im-provement paths.The improvement of SS relationship requires the combined efforts of both supervisors and students.The slackness of either side may evoke the noncooperation of the other,with the supervisor playing an important role.The quality of SS dialogue relies on the soundness of the chain of encoding and decoding.Supervisors need to consider students'cog-nitive capacity and academic interests.In order to improve SS relationship,it is necessary to further analyze the interaction logic and transformation mechanism and to consider such as-pects as recruitment scale,promoting mechanism,assessment modes,training mode,learn-ing ability,early warning mechanism and so on.Both endogenous and exogenous motivation should be taken into consideration.
