The difference between the Song poetry and Tang poetry is most obviously reflected in the artistic concep-tion of the Song poetry,which is the transformation and generation of the poet's life philosophy and survival mode in the art world,and the beauty of their personality.In the process of rebuilding the poetry tradition of the late Tang and Five Dynasties,the literati of the Northern Song Dynasty chose the tradition of Tao Yuanming's poetry for Tao's plain poetic style represented the above-mentioned artistic conception and met their internal needs,i.e.,the need for belonging,the need for aesthetics,and the need for self-realization.At the same time,Tao's plain poetic style transformed philosophy into poetic sentiment,which satisfied their individual needs to rationalize feelings and realize self-satisfaction,relaxation and detachment of personality.
