In A Dream of Red Mansions,there are two versions of Jia Yingchun's residence name,namely Zhuijin House and Zi Lingzhou House,the existence of the former one being controversial.The mainstream view is that Zhuijin House was abandoned by Cao Xueqin because of its duplication with Zhuijin Pavilion.In fact,Zhuijin House and Zhuijin Pavilion can coexist and the two are not simple duplication.Zhuijin House was not an abandoned name,and even if it was,it's worthy of attention because of Cao Xueqin's conception process implied in it."Jin"was used to refer to girls as beautiful as flowers and the rich and prosperous Jia family.It was possible that Cao also wan-ted to imply the fate of Jia Yinchun and the fall of the Jia family through the connection between Zhujin House and Zhujin Pavilion.
