Environmental criminal law is influenced by the criminal policy of"leniency"and excessively maintains a humble nature,resulting in the criminal law only playing a secondary role in environmental protection.Therefore,it is necessary to build an integrated model of environmental crime governance system with the criminal policy of envi-ronmental crime governance as the highest guidance.By establishing the relatively independent status of environmen-tal crime criminal law,strengthening the punishment of unit environmental crime,and formulating strict sentencing standards of environmental crime,we can carry out the environmental management criminal policy of"strict attack".
