Abstract
People's perception of themselves is always rooted in their own images.Whether in portraits,photo-graphs or selfies,image-based self-viewing is filled with numerous extrinsic elements:the gaze of others, the ideal self, the effects of beauty filters, etc. These self-views are unauthentic, and people tend to be captivated by the su-perficial aspects of self-image while neglecting the essence of self-viewing.Within the self-image,expressions,ga-zes,and postures are an authentic existence which needs restoring in order to be fully presented.Expressions and gazes point to the subject's spirit, while postures point to the subject's body, and together they constitute an au-thentic form of self-viewing.
