Using direct reading spectrometer,electronic universal testing machine and other equipment,the cracking defects of 6005A aluminum alloy profile used for side beam of new energy vehicle were analyzed,specifically including tail shrinkage and poor welding.The tail shrinkage and poor welding seriously damage the continuity of the organization and reduce the mechanical property to a certain extent.The cracking defect can be avoided by adjusting the mold structure and adopting reasonable extrusion process parameter,and analysis was performed.
