Effects of Depth and Dosage of Pendimethalin EC Application on Growth of Cotton Seedling
The effects of madicine layer depth and medicine dosage used of stomp (pendimethalin) on growth and development of cotton seedling were studied. The results showed that pendimethalin inhibitsed the lateral root and tap root growth of cotton seedling when the medicine layer was above 4 cm,but roots grew normally when the medicine layer was below 4 cm. Pendimethalin inhibited lateral root to grow when the medicine concentration used was above 3 000 mL/hm2 ,but presented a weak effecs on dry weight,length of taprvots and the fresh weight of cotton seedling.
