Risk Assessment of the Invasive Plant Mikania micrantha in Guangxi
One of the most harmful and aggressive weeds of the world,Mikania micrantha was found in the southeast of Guangxi where it is becoming increasingly damaging.The risk in the process of dispersal,colonization and diffusion of Guangxi was evaluated according to the biological characteristics,potential risk and management control difficulty of M. micrantha,and the risk assessment system of M.micrantha in Guangxi was established preliminarily.According to a com-prehensive evaluation based on the risk assessment system,M.micrantha risk score is as high as 83.5,in accordance to its high invasive potential.
