Research progress on chemical constituents and medical functions in plants of Bletilla Rchb.f.
Phytochemical investigation indicates that plants of Bletilla Rchb.f.have many components with different chemical structures,including bibenzyl,dihydrophenanthrene,stilbene,biphenanthrene,and quinone.These compounds were found to have potent bioactivities,such as hemostasis,antitumor,sterilization and anti-inflammation,healing,and growth promotion of cells.This review focuses on the chemical structures of constituents and medical functions of genus,Bletilla Rchb.f.It would provide a good reference to further utilize this medicinal plant.
